In the ultra competitive world of e-sports, the all male ZGDX OPL team is second to none. Armies of adoring female fans follow the team wherever it goes. However, when one of the team's star players suffers a hand injury, the tall, handsome and notoriously hard-to-please ZGDX captain, Lu Si Cheng will not be rushed into choosing a replacement.
The petite, lollipop-loving Tong Yao, meanwhile, is a budding amateur gamer - obsessed with OPL. Her skills are exceptional but she is of the firm belief that in the male-dominated world of pro gaming, love is a big no-no even though her own ex-boyfriend was a gamer.

Lu Si Cheng (aka Cheng Ge) is an outspoken person with a more arbitrary style of doing things and does not care much about what outsiders think of him. He has a strong passion for e-sports and to him, it is his career. He is a top student at the University of Political Science and Law, a star player in the e-sports circle and puts high importance into his games.

Tong Yao
Tong Yao is the new mid-laner of the ZGDX team. She is cute, straightforward and simple with a strong sense of justice, intelligent, humorous and optimistic. She is one of the nation's top Tamamo-no-Mae player and one of the rare strong female players which caused her to be doubted and ridiculed by many.

However, with her strong personality, Tong Yao continued working hard, diligently practice and persevered through. In the end, Tong Yao earned the opportunity to participate in world-class competitions and ultimately won the championship on behalf of China and realised her e-sports dream.

Jian Yang
Childhood sweethearts - Jian Yang was Tong Yao's first love and ex-boyfriend as well as the boy next door ever since they were young.

Jian Yang is the captain of the CK team. Due to different dreams, pathways and other factors, they both ended up separating and going their own ways. However, later on, Jian Yang regretted this decision.

He was the one who introduced e-sports to Tong Yao back when they were dating. After their separation, Tong Yao realised her passion for e-sports and decides to join the ZGDX team. This led to their fate of being competitors on the same stage.

Lu Yue
Lu Yue - the biggest gossip and the younger brother of Lu Si Cheng. Lu Yue is the alternate mid-laner of the ZGDX team. Due to his impulsive behaviour, Lu Yue was banned for a year from the e-sports circle after engaging in a fight which caused the injury of God Ming's hand.
During the game, Lu Yue made a mistake which caused him to be kicked out of the team by his brother. In order to help his brother, Lu Yue played cupid and the wingman, helping Tong Yao to realise her feelings for Lu Si Cheng.

Jin Yang
Jin Yang is Tong Yao's #1 fan and best friend. With her long legs, Jin Yang is a true beauty and comes from a wealthy family. She has an arrogant and straightforward personality but is also often cheerful, generous and optimistic. Jin Yang often acts as the mediator between the ZGDX and YQCB teams. She also occasionally works as a host for e-sports competitions.

Jin Yang pursued her education abroad and graduated with a high-level education. She has a clear plan for her future and career development. Her boyfriend - Ai Jia is a member of the YQCB team. They started off on a rocky path as they had different passions. However, after some time, they both realised the passion they have for the e-sports circle and reconciled. Jin Yang and Ai Jia ended up tying the knot.
